At REACH we employ experiential learning activities to strengthen the relationships between refugee youth and their new land. On May 21st, we’ll be hosting an outdoor event to share the refugee experience, support outdoor adventures, and build connections among our Chicago neighbors!
CONNECT. Meet local refugee youth and their families, learn about their experiences and why they care so much about the environment.
INSPIRE. Join refugee youth in a “Rules of War” obstacle course that they created!
TRANSFORM. Expand your worldview, engage in some outdoor fun, sign up to volunteer, or donate your lightly used outdoor gear.
In partnership with American Red Cross and Forest Preserves of Cook County.
