Join Chicago Fair Trade for Globalfest at the Newberry Library for an evening of live music, festive food and drink, and a wildly popular silent auction.
At this year’s Globalfest, CFT will honor two Changemakers: WorldFinds and Nasreen Sheikh.
- In addition to providing fair trade work to over 700 artisans, WorldFinds is one of the most active supporters and promoters of the fair trade movement both locally and nationally. This year, they celebrate 20 years in business.
- Nasreen Sheikh is a survivor of modern-day slavery, a social entrepreneur, a human rights advocate and international speaker. Nasreen is one of the most powerful young women we have ever had the privilege of knowing.
