Soondra works with Chicago Fair Trade to Create Masks Without Borders

Congratulations to The Soondra Foundation on a successful Masks Without Borders campaign. The Soondra Foundation, working with Chicago Fair Trade and Work+Shelter launched the campaign in November 2020 to provide masks to Chicago non-profits and to India’s working poor. To date, the campaign has raised more than $17,000 in donations, providing over 8,000 free masks to people in need. The program prioritizes children in India, and organizations protecting the LGBTQ+ community in Chicago to protect these communities against the COVID-19 pandemic. In addition, the donations equip and connect organizations in India with new trainees to produce masks for underserved communities. Locally the Soondra Foundation was able to partner with McCormick YMCA's fresh food event to donate masks.
